Come sign up for our summer reading program and receive a DQ treat. Kiddoes will be coloring a wall mural to "Color our World" for the summer. Children ages 0-11.

You are invited to join us at the Winnie library for a fun-filled storytime. We will have engaging songs, stories, and activities for children ages 0-11.

Teens will come and use the wax from colored tea wax candles to paint designs on a plain white candle. They can paint any design they would like and take their finished candle home!

Patrons will paint a pretreated page with water to create a masterpiece.

Discover the amazing world of nearby wetlands. We will learn what types of animals live in the wetlands and how they change colors to adapt to their environment. The audience will get to hold and pet the animals in a safe environment. 

Teen will come and make edible marshmallow paint/ They will paint their marshmallows and then get to either eat them then or take them home. 

The Art Museum of Southeast Texas will do a program and then provide a planned art craft for adults, teens and kids.

Take a litte break from the summer heat and join your friends at the library for a summertime storytime. We will have engaging songs, stories, and activities for children ages 0-11. 

Book Club members will read "Holmes, Marple and Poe" by James Patterson and John O'Born.

Join us at the library to meet our super heroes without capes-our local First Responders. The Chambers County Sheriff's Department will cook up some yummy hot dogs for patrons to enjoy while visiting with Chase from Paw Patrol.

Teens will come and make any jewelry they like out of miscellaneous jewelry supplies.

Patrons will make some truly awful, bad art!

The magical John O'Bryant is back with a fun and exciting magic show!

Take a break from the summer sun and come cool off at the Juanita Hargraves Memorial Branch Library to watch "The Hero of Color City". Join in on the adventure of the crayons traveling to Color City.

Teens will come and create whatever they would like out of air dry clay.

Jewels the Clown will wrap up our summer reading program. She will perform comedy and magic tricks with the help of audience participation. She will make balloons in the form of swords, poodles, flowers, or a hat.

Teens will come celebrate the end of SRP with a glow party.
