The Genealogy Workshop is provided by the Genealogy Network of Texas and brings together researchers and heritage organizations for a full day of free genealogy education, resources, and community. This hybrid event is hosted in partnership with more than 75 libraries across Texas.

Do I need experience to attend? 
Not at all! Sessions are geared toward beginners and intermediate researchers. 

Is it really free? 
Yes! Everything is completely free to attend thanks to our partner organizations. 

Can I drop in during the day? 
Absolutely. Come for one session or stay all day — it's up to you. 

Will sessions be recorded? 
No, this is a one-day event, but if you are unable to attend in-person, please register to view the programs from home.
